Fathers for Justice was not an organization I dreamed of starting or would ever even have wanted to start -- it was a mission the Lord placed on my heart for fathers in our community.  Definitely not a role I wished for, but then again, if not us, then who?  Our community, our children, need the men in their lives to know how to be the leaders of their homes and the strong, kind fathers who are relentless for their families.

As a father who has struggled through custody chaos, addiction, broken relationships, and the challenges of coparent communication, primarily I know it's about none of those things alone: it is about becoming the man I am meant to be so I can be the father I long to be -- the father my sons (and later little ones) deserve.  It is about becoming the father I always wanted to have, and I was only able to walk in the freedom of that identity when I came to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior.  That was when I finally met a heavenly Father who is only good, who loves perfectly, disciplines perfectly, and never gives up. 

Now my heart is to share the gift of this journey -- and the journey of parenthood -- to heal the hearts of other fathers and families.  Whether you are ready or not, fatherhood is one of the greatest adventures life has to offer.  It's time to turn our hearts toward our children and walk in healing for ourselves, our families, and our community.

Fathers for Justice is a grassroots, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping fathers reengage, reconnect, and reunite with their children as men, as parents, and as leaders in their families and households who set a powerful, healthy example for their children to follow.  For each father and family, that can mean an entirely unique set of circumstances and needs.  Meet the FFJ team that helps this healing happen.
